Located at 1011 E Benton Ave, Naperville, IL 60540, The Naperville Tennis Club operates as a tennis club serving Naperville in Illinois. Tennis in the United States is played on three kinds of places: public park courts run by a city or county, member clubs and country clubs with their own pros and leagues, and commercial tennis centers that sell court time by the hour. Public courts are usually free and first come, first served, with a posted limit (often 60-90 minutes when others are waiting); busier cities run online reservation systems with a small fee and a permit for the season. Indoor courts are rented by the hour and booked days ahead in winter. Most facilities are hard courts; clay is common in the Southeast and at private clubs, and grass is rare. Lights extend play into the evening at many parks, sometimes with a coin or app-operated switch.

Hours are published for 7 days a week. Typical hours are 9 am–9:30 pm. Been playing here since 2002! Great hard courts and lighting. Round Robin to match your skill level. No gym, but I come for the tennis!

I would say come here if you want to waste your money and time. I am a member of the club, but it does not have any benefits. I paid 51$ monthly and every time I should pay more than 40$ to play in and reserve a court. I am a member of double women match, but they cancel the game just 30 min before it starts. Don’t come here if you value your time and money.

Was part of the Rafa Nadal Academy here. That was super fun — highly recommend — but not associated with the club. Facility is nice. Courts are clean and kept up and they do a nice job of keeping them that way. It was WAY too hot on the court. Like … felt like 78 degrees even though it’s indoors. They should address this. Locker room is very basic and old. I wouldn’t shower here. Not very clean. Their “shop” isn’t really a shop — carried a lot of “Naperville tennis” stuff and kids things. Not much else. Just funny because on their website it says that they have the “Largest selection of racquets, tennis apparel, shoes and accessories in the Chicago area”. Not true 😂 No vending machines or anything like that. Be prepared with a water bottle. They don’t have coolers on the court. They have a tiny tiny fridge of water and no electrolyte drinks. Again, pretty basic. I know nothing about their pros or classes. I’m sure they’re fine!

We tried three seasons with Naperville Tennis Club since we live 5 mins away. They never done any assessments to my child. They kept moving him from class to class. I Extremely disappointing experience. The coaches seemed more interested in chatting with each other than engaging with the kids. My 6-year-old, who absolutely loves tennis, came away from this program disheartened and discouraged. What should have been a fun and motivating environment turned into a passion killer. We’ve since found a fantastic program, 5star, 30 minutes away—well worth the drive. My child is thriving there and learning so much each session. This facility is doing a disservice to young athletes in Naperville and seriously needs to re-evaluate its standards. I cannot recommend it..
